This piece began as a soft, flowing abstract - oceanic in colour and movement. Over time, it became clear that something more was asking to emerge. I returned to the canvas, followed that quiet pull, and a sea turtle surfaced from the depths.
 
The painting was created during a period of slowing down and learning to trust a deeper rhythm - a reminder to move gently through emotional currents and to honour one’s own pace.
The sea turtle carries a sense of wisdom, resilience and quiet strength. She is often seen as a symbol of calm endurance, emotional healing and steady forward motion.
