'Peacock Butterfly'
I used to be scared of Butterflies! To me they seemed like spiders in pretty outfits, but nowadays I see their beauty and importance as pollinators.
Another amazing reference photo came from Julie Hunt. This piece was also drawn alongside my members in our monthly draw alongs and it was fun to navigate the different textures and colours when you observe something closely enough to draw every marking.
I enjoyed this piece from start to finished and would make a lovely addition to any room
