Mr Fox
This piece brings back memories of excitement and creative inspiration as I had just bought myself a set of Faber Castell Pitt Pastels and this piece was my first time trying them out. I also had a new all singing and dancing sharpening plane that worked like a dream and added to the excitement (us artists gets so much joy from new art supplies!)
The vibrancy of the colours and the ability to lay down light over dark (which you can’t do with coloured pencils) was a revelation and I hope you can sense the joy buzzing through my fingers as I created this piece!
I find foxes so beautiful, with their red and white coats and bushy tails. I have drawn a few foxes and each time is a pleasure. Perhaps this piece will add some joy, colour and beauty to your home. If you love foxes or know someone that does, please let me know if you would like to give him a new home
